Groups & weddings

Bigger trips, same care.

A family reunion of fifteen. A board offsite for eight. A wedding for sixty in a Saxon courtyard. We have done each of these — quietly, slowly, with the same hosts who already trust us. Tell us about yours.

👥

For groups

Multi-family reunions, milestone birthdays, company offsites, friend-group road trips. We block out two or three of our homes together, organise transport between them, and host one signature dinner — usually with a chef we work with in Sibiu or Cluj.

  • ·8–30 people across linked homes
  • ·Coach or minivan logistics included
  • ·Private chef for one or more dinners
  • ·Group guides for hikes, wine, bears
  • ·Children's programme if it helps
💍

For weddings

Saxon courtyards, manor lawns, fortified-church courtyards (yes, you can marry in one with the right paperwork). 30–80 guests is our sweet spot. We work with three Romanian wedding planners we trust and quietly take over the logistics so they can focus on the day.

  • ·30–80 guests, civil & religious
  • ·Saxon courtyards, manor gardens, fortified churches
  • ·Trusted local wedding planners
  • ·Buses for guest transfer between hotel & venue
  • ·Photographer, florist, musicians on request

Venues we know

Apafi Manor, Mălâncrav
Saxon manor with orchard · 40 seated · 80 standing

Whitewashed walls, painted ceilings, an orchard for the ceremony. Sleeps 10 in the manor itself; we block neighbouring houses for the rest.

Casa Saxonia, Viscri
Saxon courtyard · 60 seated · 100 standing

Three buildings around a courtyard, with the famous fortified church a hundred metres away. The bakery still works for the wedding bread.

Conacul Borșa, Cluj
Hilltop manor · 50 seated · 80 standing

Long verandah looking south to the Apuseni. Anca is one of the most respected chefs in the country — her tasting menu is reason enough.

Stadl 16, Biertan
Restored barn · 70 seated · 120 standing

A 24-metre long room with oak floor and a glass wall opening onto the meadow. Modern wedding, traditional village.
